Newly recruited members will go through a series of training programmes before they start their first day at work so that they can learn the fundamentals of the retail business operation. Mannings also organises “Graduate Trainee Programme” which is specifically designed for fresh university graduates. The 18-month programme combines several modules in which each is designed to provide trainees with hands-on skills and techniques for career development. The objectives of the programme are:

  • To provide an overview of general operations of Mannings.
  • To provide a systematic learning framework for progressive learning.
  • To provide intensive on-the-job experience in store operations, merchandise and marketing.
  • To develop professional skills and management knowledge for trainees to pursue future career with Mannings.

    During the whole period of training, experienced mentors will be appointed to each trainee offering close guidance and career coaching. Through regular meetings, module presentations and small group discussions, the trainees’ learning progress is guided while their skills improve day by day.
