Overcoming the need to access the hospitals for peace of mind
Mannings Hong Kong provides medication collection service (including refrigerated medicines) for local residents from the following seventeen designated HA public hospitals. Patients of Specialist Out-Patient Clinic from these 17 hospitals can choose to collect their medicine from designated Hong Kong Mannings stores or via home delivery service after the application has been confirmed#. This will help to reduce the risk of infection from hospital visits and yet, still able to access and collect the medications.
Option 1: Collect medicine from designated Mannings stores*
1. Customers check out with community registered pharmacist at the designated Mannings store. Eligible patients have to provide their Specialist Out-Patient Clinic appointment slip or refill prescriptions to the pharmacist.
2. With the consent and authorisation from the customers, Mannings community registered pharmacist will review the medication history and medicines allergy via eHealth.
3. Customers can make relevant payment of any public hospitals by Hospital Authority One-stop app “HA GO”
4. Mannings will assign appointed personnel to the designated public hospitals to collect and deliver the medicine to designated Mannings stores.
5. Customers return to the designated Mannings stores to collect the medicine. Mannings community registered pharmacist will provide professional counselling and advice on the correct usage of the medicine.
Option 2: Medication home delivery service^
1. Customers check out with community registered pharmacist at the designated Mannings store. Eligible patients have to provide their Specialist Out-Patient Clinic appointment slip or refill prescriptions to the pharmacist.
2. With the consent and authorisation from the customers, Mannings community registered pharmacist will review the medication history and medicines allergy via eHealth.
3. Customers can make relevant payment of any public hospitals by Hospital Authority One-stop app “HA GO”
4. Mannings will assign appointed personnel to the designated public hospitals to collect and deliver the medications to assigned address. Customers need to present verification code to receive the medications.
5. Upon successful home delivery, Mannings community registered pharmacist will call patients to provide professional counselling and advice on the correct usage of the medicine.
Please Note:
#This service is available for patients of Specialist Out-Patient Clinic and for their regular medicine only. Patients need to have prior confirmation with their respective Specialist Out-Patient Clinic on eligibility for "Drug Collection without Consultation" within 14 days before scheduled appointment. This service is not applicable to other medicines that require special handling. Patients will require to register with eHealth before applying for this service. Unregistered patients can bring their smart ID cards and visit a designated Mannings pharmacy to register and activate this service. Children aged 16 below must submit their registration online in advance before visit Mannings. Service provided is subject to relevant terms and conditions. For more details, please bring along the Specialist Out-Patient Clinic appointment slip/refill prescription and check out with Mannings pharmacist at Mannings store or call Mannings Pharmacist Hotline at 2299-3398. Customer should check in advance if they have sufficient medicine for the waiting period.
*Mannings will charge HK$50 only for the medication collection with professional pharmacy service. If the delivery includes refrigerated medicines, extra HK$50 charge applies.
