1.Remove all components from the test kit and allow them to equilibrate to room temperature (18-28°C).
2. Tear off the seal of the buffer solution and place it into the designated slot on the outer box for later use.
3. Remove the swab from the packaging, ensuring to keep the swab tip clean.
4.Gently insert the swab into the nostril (approximately 2 cm deep) until resistance is encountered at the nasal turbinate.
5.Rotate the swab against the nasal wall for 5 times, then repeat the sampling process in the other nostril using the same swab. Finally, slowly remove the swab from the nostril.
6.As shown in the below picture, pinch the tube wall with your fingers while rotating the swab against the wall of the buffer solution for 5-6 times, ensuring the swab is fully immersed in the buffer solution and allow it to sit for 1 minute.
7. Squeeze the tube wall to lightly press the swab, allowing the liquid to remain inside the tube as much as possible. Remove the swab and place it into the biological waste disposal bag.
8. Close the tube cap tightly and shake it at least 10 times to ensure thorough mixing.
9 Take out the test card from the aluminium foil pouch and place it flat
on the table.
10. Add 4 drops (approximately 0.1 mL) of the well-mixed, processed buffer solution to each sample well on the test card. Then, place the used swab into the biological waste disposal bag and wait for the test results on the test card.
11. Within 15-20 minutes after the test begins, user can visually inspect
the test region on the card for the appearance of visible pink or light purple lines to interpret the test results. Reading the results after 20 minutes can not guarantee the accuracy.
12. After completing the test, place all components of the test kit into the biological waste disposal bag and seal it. Dispose the test kit according to local regulations.
13. Thoroughly wash hands after disposal.
